Domaine La Colombes Rose: This is a classic from Provence France that fully lives up to the highest standards of the region. Light in color, with a very expressive nose, light and fruity on the palate, and impressive with great Finesse. It is a blend of 30% Syrah, 50% Grenache, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon with little contact with the skins. It goes well with fish, grilled meats and served chilled it is the epitome of a great porch sipper. Unlike its kissing cousin in taste, Whispering Angel, it is 10-12 dollars half that of its cousin.
